Terms of Use

Last updated July 6, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Sashing app and the getsashing.com website, both provided by Handler Labs LLC. By using them, you agree to what follows. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

The app

Sashing helps you calculate fabric requirements and organize your quilting. The calculations are careful and tested against published quilting references, but fabric, cutting, and sewing involve real-world variation. Always check a result before you cut, and treat the numbers as a well-informed starting point, not a guarantee.

Purchases and subscriptions

The core calculators are free. Premium is available through an auto-renewing subscription ($1.99 per month or $14.99 per year) or a one-time Lifetime purchase ($24.99), sold through the App Store. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial; unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to the paid plan and then auto-renews at the same price each period until you cancel. You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep Premium until the current period ends. Prices are shown in the app and set through the App Store in your local currency, and payment is charged to your Apple Account. Refunds are handled by Apple under its standard terms.

Your content

The fabric records, projects, designs, and photos you create are yours. They stay on your device and in your own iCloud. You are responsible for keeping your own backups, and the app provides a full export for that purpose.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to break, reverse engineer, or misuse the app or the site, and do not use them in a way that breaks the law.

Warranty and liability

Sashing is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Handler Labs LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app or the site, including wasted materials. Some places do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Apple's standard terms

Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement also applies to the app, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
