Privacy Policy

Sashing is built to be private. The short version: we do not collect your data. Your calculations, fabric stash, projects, and designs stay on your device and, if you turn on iCloud, sync only through your own Apple account. We do not run a server that can see any of it, and there are no ads and no tracking.

Who we are

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. Sashing has no account and no login. The data you create in the app (savable defaults, saved calculations, fabric photos, projects, and quilt designs) is stored on your device using Apple's on-device database. If you enable iCloud, that data syncs across your own devices through Apple's CloudKit, which we cannot read.

Third parties

• Apple processes any purchase and handles iCloud sync. This is governed byApple's own privacy policy.
• RevenueCat manages your subscription status so the app knows whether Premium is unlocked. It receives your purchase state (your App Store purchase history for Sashing), not your name or your quilting data. SeeRevenueCat's privacy policy.

We do not use analytics, advertising, or any tracking software, and we do not sell or share data with anyone.

Photos

When you add a photo of a fabric or a project, it is stored on your device and, with iCloud on, in your own iCloud. It is not uploaded to us.

Children

Sashing is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. Because we collect no personal data, we do not knowingly collect anything from children.

Your choices and rights

Because your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud, you are in control of it. You can edit or delete any fabric, project, or design in the app, export a full backup, or remove everything by deleting the app and clearing its iCloud data in your Apple account settings. For anything related to a purchase, contact Apple. Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA may give you additional rights; since we hold no personal data about you, most of those requests are satisfied on your own device.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not collect personal information from you, so there are no categories of personal information for us to disclose, and we have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding twelve months — we do not sell or share it at all. Purchases are processed by Apple and RevenueCat as described above, not collected by Handler Labs LLC. California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of personal information, the right to opt out of its sale or sharing, and the right not to be treated differently for exercising these rights. Because your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud, you can exercise the know, delete, and correct rights yourself in the app; for anything else, write to[email protected]. We do not track you across sites or apps, so there is nothing to opt out of, and we honor browser "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals by collecting nothing either way.

How long we keep data

We keep nothing, because we hold no personal data about you. The content you create stays on your device (and in your own iCloud, if enabled) until you delete it or remove the app.
